Colin BlankenshipSince joining Hayden Consultants in 2003 Colin has prepared design and construction plans for highway and roadway horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, construction phasing, traffic control, grading, erosion control, striping and signage, stream hydraulics, hydrology, water and wastewater lines. He is responsible for coordinating the design and plans with clients, surveyors and sub-consultants. Colin is a Registered Accessibility Specialist through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Colin is a member of the Texas Floodplain Management Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He serves as the Sustainability Chair and Engineers without Borders liaison for the Dallas Branch of ASCE. In this role he is leading the volunteer effort to evaluate five camp sites in North Texas for needed erosion control repairs for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.

Colin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003. While attending college he worked as a summer intern with the Texas Department of Transportation in the Bryan District.
